Assam Police APBO Recruitment notification 2023 :

State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has invited online application form from eligible Ex-Servicemen (Army/Navy/Air Force) who are ordinarily domiciled in the State of Assam regarding the recruitment of 332 posts of Inspector (B), Sub-Inspector (B), Head Constable and Constable. The recruitment has been announced under the Assam Police Border Organization. The application process for this recruitment will be online based and eligible and interested candidates will have to submit their online applications on the official website of SLRBP on or before 15th September 2023.

Salary/Pay Scale :

1. Inspector (B) Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- (PB-3) and Grade Pay Rs. 10300/-
2. Sub-Inspector (B) Rs.14,000/- to 60,500/- (PB-2) and Grade Pay Rs. 8700/-
3. Head Constable (B) Rs14,000/- to Rs.60,500/- and Grade Pay Rs. 6,800/- (PB-2)
4. Constable (B) Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/-
   and Grade Pay Rs. 5,600/- (PB-2)

Educational qualification :

1. Candidates who have passed HSLC or equivalent from any recognized Board or Council.

Service qualification :

• Constable and Head Constable: Those who retired in the rank of Sepoy to Havildar in the Army or equivalent rank in the Navy or Air Force.
  
• Sub-Inspector and Inspector: Those who retired in the rank of Naib Subedar or above in the Army or equivalent rank in the Navy or Air Force.

Age Limit :

• The age of the candidate should not be more than 50 years as on 1st January 2023. Candidate must be born on or after 1st January 1973.

Selection Process :
