The Telangana State Government has entrusted Osmania University, Hyderabad with the responsibility of conducting the State Eligibility Test (SET). The SET 2024 is held annually to assess the eligibility of candidates for the positions of assistant professors and lecturers in state government universities, colleges, and institutions. Eligibility Conditions for TS SET 2024

Educational Qualifications-

• Candidates who have completed or are in the final year of their Master’s Degree or equivalent are eligible to apply.
• To be eligible, general/Unreserved/general-EWS candidates must secure at least 55% marks, and reserved category candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks.
• Ph.D. Degree holders who have completed their Master’s are eligible for a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks.

Age Requirement

• There is no maximum age limit set by the examination authority to appear in the Telangana State Eligibility Test (SET-2024).
