Qualified and willing male and female candidates under 70 years of age as of the date of the walk-in interview are invited to attend a WALK-IN INTERVIEW for engagement as General Duty Medical Officers in CRPF Hospitals on a contractual basis. There are a total of 22 vacancies available across various CRPF Units, Institutions, and NDRF Battalions as detailed below:

2.Remuneration:-Rs. 75,000/- for GDMOs.

  1. Qualification:-MBBS, Internship.
  2. Other terms & conditions:-
    a) Appointment is purely on contract basis and the initial period of
    appointment of contract will be for three years which may be extended for
    further 02 years on year to year basis subject to the Maximum age of 70
    years.

  13. b) Upon completion of the tenure, the contract will automatically lapse. However, either party can terminate the appointment at any time by providing one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary without assigning any reason, or if the appointee fails to complete three months of satisfactory service.
  14. c) The appointee is not entitled to any benefits such as provident fund, pension, gratuity, medical treatment, seniority, promotion, or any other benefits available to regular government employees. Additionally, the appointee will not have any claim or right to a regular appointment to any post under the CRPF.
  15. d) The working hours for the appointee will follow the schedule of CRPF Hospitals/Establishments or as determined by the competent authority.
  16. e) The appointment carries the liability to serve in any part of the country.
  17. f) The appointee shall perform duties assigned by the CRPF, and the competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as required without extra or additional allowance.
  18. g) The leave entitlement of the appointee will be governed by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) guidelines as per O.M. No. 12016/3/84-Estt(L) dated April 12, 1985, O.M. No. 12016/1/90-Estt(L) dated July 5, 1990, and O.M. No. 12016/2/99-Estt(L) dated July 12, 1999, as amended from time to time.
  19. h) No TA/DA or boarding/lodging will be provided during the walk-in interview.
  20. i) No TA/DA will be paid during the engagement period in the CRPF on a contractual basis.
  21. j) During the contract period, the appointee must adhere to the discipline standards of the force and follow the orders of the administrative authority, whether written or verbal.

  23. Walk-in Interview Details
  24. Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview should bring original documents and photocopies of all relevant documents (Degree, Age Proof, Experience Certificate, etc.), an application on plain paper superscribing the name of the post applied for, and five recent passport-size photographs. The interview will be followed by a medical examination.
