Step-1 APPSC Group 2 OTPR Process

1. Visit the official website of APPSC at https://psc.ap.gov.in.

2. Click on the “Direct Recruitment”>> “New Notification” link.

3. Click on “New Registration” and fill in the details as required. One should fill in all the details very carefully.

4. The details on the registration page include aadhaar number, name, birth detailed address, email ID, mobile number, education details etc.

5. Upload a photograph (JPG/JPEG format, 50 kb, 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) and signature (JPG/JPEG format, 30 kb, 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm) in the mentioned format.

Step 2- Submit Application Form 

1. The candidate needs to login to the website using the ID and password created

2. Now the candidate needs to click on application submission and log in using the official ID and password.

3. Now after login, the candidate needs to fill in the remaining details carefully.

4. After this the candidate needs to pay the required application fee and click on submit after confirmation.

5. The APPSC Group 2 Application Form is successfully submitted, download it fo future reference. 

6. An ID and password will be created and sent to the official email and mobile number.

APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023 Eligibility

APPSC Group 2 Education Qualification (as on 07/12/2023)

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized university is a must to be eligible to apply for APPSC Group 2 Vacancies. 

APPSC Group 2 Age Limit

The age of the candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 42 years to be eligible for APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023. Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved categories as per the government rules and regulations.

APPSC Group 2 Selection Process 2023

The candidates will be selected for APPSC Group 2 services through prelims, mains, and computer proficiency tests. The APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is of screening type and the final merit list will comprise of the marks obtained by the candidates in the mains exam. APPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern

The Commission has revised the APPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern for each stage in the selection process. APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam Pattern

1. APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is the screening stage for only shortlisting candidates for the main exam.
2. The exam includes 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
3. Now APPSC Group 2 Prelims has questions from General Studies and Mental Ability.
4. The topics from General Studies include Indian History, Geography, Indian Society, and Current Affairs. There will be 30 questions from each section.
5. There is a negative marking of ⅓rd marks for each wrong answer.
6. The time duration of the test will be 150 minutes (2.5 hours).

1. The exam has 2 papers, each carrying an equal weight of 150 marks.
2. All the questions are objective type. The level of the questions is similar to a bachelor’s degree.
3. Each question carries 1 mark.
