RBI Summer Internship 2024 : Eligibility criteria
The eligibility criteria for the RBI Summer Placement Program include students pursuing postgraduate courses or integrated five-year programs in fields such as Management, Statistics, Law, Commerce, Economics, Econometrics, Banking, or Finance. Additionally, students enrolled in three-year full-time professional bachelor’s degrees in Law from recognized institutions in India are also eligible to apply.
RBI Summer Internship 2024: Stipend and Benefits
Selected summer trainees will receive a monthly stipend of ₹20,000. However, outstation trainees are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. Prior to starting the internship, trainees must sign a confidentiality agreement. Outstation candidates will be reimbursed for AC II Tier return fare by rail (or the equivalent amount) for travel between their institute and the summer placement location.
RBI Summer Internship 2024: Selection Process
The selection process will identify up to 125 students each year for summer placements. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted in January or February at designated RBI offices. The final list of selected candidates will be announced in February or March.
RBI Summer Internship 2024: Application for Foreign Students
Foreign students pursuing courses in economics, finance, banking, management, or law at institutions abroad are also eligible to apply. Selected foreign trainees will be required to complete their projects at the RBI’s Central Office departments in Mumbai. For further details, please refer to the official notice.
