Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be 20 years old and the upper age limit of the candidates is not more than 25 years as of 01.08.2024.

UPSC CAPF AC Selection Process
The selection process for candidates will proceed as follows:
- Written Exam: Candidates will undergo a written examination consisting of two papers, namely Paper I & Paper II. These papers evaluate the candidate’s general ability and intelligence.
- Physical Efficiency Test: This phase includes physical and medical standard tests. The events conducted in this phase will be tailored separately for male and female candidates.
- Personality Test/Interview: Candidates who qualify the medical standard tests will proceed to the personality test or interview, which carries a weightage of 150 marks. Upon qualifying the personality test or interview, the commission will issue a Detailed Application Form (DAF) for shortlisted candidates.
- Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained by candidates in the written examination and personality test or interview.
