Eligibility Criteria for KARTET 2024:
For Classes 1 to 5:
- Candidates must have obtained 50% marks in the PUC Senior Secondary (Sixth) Examination and completed two years of D.EL.Ed with passing marks in the second year, or awaiting results.
- Alternatively, candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the PUC/Senior Secondary (Equivalent) Examination and completed four years of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), or awaiting results of the final semester/year examination.
- Or, candidates must have achieved at least 50% marks in the Senior Secondary (Equivalent) Examination and completed two years of Diploma in Education (Special Education), or awaiting results of the second year/final semester examination.
- Alternatively, candidates should have attained a minimum of 50% marks in graduation and passed the second year of a two-year D.EL.Ed course, or awaiting results of the final examination.
- Or, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation and completed a B.ED degree, or awaiting results of the final semester examination.
For Classes 6 to 8:
- Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation and passed the second year of a two-year D.EL.Ed course, or awaiting results of the final examination of the first year.
- Alternatively, candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in graduation and completed a B.ED degree, or awaiting results of the final semester examination.
